Grange Academy Receives Generous Gifts from Dunelm Customers
Grange Academy, part of the Bedford Inclusive Learning and Training Trust, is thrilled to announce the arrival of an incredible array of gifts generously donated by Dunelm customers. These thoughtful donations will bring joy and excitement to pupils across the school this holiday season.
The initiative was brought to life by the diligent efforts of Grange Academy’s Office Staff and Site Team. The process began with Office Staff reaching out to each class to gather anonymous gift suggestions for every child. Requests were then labelled with descriptions such as “Girl aged 9 – Harry Potter games” and hung on a tree. Dunelm customers selected labels, purchased the requested items, and delivered them to the school.
The response was nothing short of extraordinary, with customers going above and beyond to provide for Grange pupils. Many donations came in large bags, showcasing the immense generosity and community spirit of those involved.
Rachel Timms, Headteacher of Grange Academy, expressed her heartfelt gratitude:
"We are absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity shown by Dunelm customers, the incredible efforts of the Dunelm staff, and everyone who made this initiative possible. These gifts will mean so much to our pupils and their families, creating wonderful moments of joy and happiness. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed - it truly embodies the spirit of giving and community."
Grange Academy extends its deepest thanks to Dunelm customers and all who participated in facilitating this initiative. The support will make a significant impact on the lives of its pupils, bringing smiles and a sense of belonging to all.
