At BILTT we are committed to sharing the best possible practice for our pupils with SEND. We therefore do all that we can to offer outreach into our community.
Training Opportunities
We offer a range of training opportunities for professionals including:
- Our SEND conferences: these are very popular and include key note speakers and workshops led by our skilled headteachers and senior staff. These are inspiring days filled with practical ideas and enabling dialogue around the latest research.
- Fortnightly training workshops around diverse aspects of SEND hosted at Grange Academy
- Partnership outreach work where our staff provide guidance and coaching for colleagues around specific areas of practice or support for individual pupils. This can be a one off visit or a long term partnership.
- Chances for schools to access outreach at Grange's Farm for class trips or support for pupils currently struggling to access school
Support for Families
We also offer a range of support for families including:
- Training workshops
- Family fun sessions
- Bespoke support for individual families
- Signposting to other local specialist
- Food Bank vouchers available via Grange Academy
- Farm open days and animal experience sessions
- Chances to book birthday parties using our specialist facilities
As a Trust we also offer opportunities for care homes and other local groups to attend events at our schools, and pupils offer community support such as tending gardens or developing community facilities.
